David Macdonald
INDEPENDENT COMPLAINTS PANEL
David is a senior officer within the Glasgow City Alcohol and Drug Partnership (ADP) with responsibility for co-ordinating addiction services across the city.
A former senior officer within the Police Scotland, he has over 30 years’ service across the Criminal Justice arena. He has significant experience as a licensing practitioner at local and national levels and was a key member of Scotland’s Licensing Policy Unit. He has considerable experience in operational leadership in the public sector.
He has a Masters degree in Contemporary Drug and Alcohol Studies from the University of West of Scotland. He is the vice chair of the National Parents Forum of Scotland and also serves on the Advisory Council of the Scottish Qualifications Authority.
