“Local councils understand the importance of the night time economy to the wider economic and social health of their areas. Recent research we undertook highlighted that 74% of councils see developing it as a key priority. However, only 22% of councils had a dedicated night time economy strategy.
“More can be done to share best practice and replicate models of partnership working between police, businesses and other local stakeholders across the country to help create high streets fit for day and night.”
