Katie Coakes
Katie is responsible for the Portman Group’s media output and external and internal communications. Katie has worked in Communications for more than fifteen years, working across several different sectors, from public and charity to consumer and education.
Katie has worked at the Office of the Sussex Police & Crime Commissioner, with FMCG food and drink brands, Cambridge University and most recently at Macmillan Cancer Support.
Having worked in a number of different organisations, Katie has experience in a wide variety of communications skills, including media relations, strategic communications, social media management and stakeholder engagement.
Katie holds a BA Hons in African Studies from the University of Birmingham.
